The digital refractometers are optical instruments that employ the measurement of refractive index to determine the Sodium chloride concentration (MA886), Salinity (MA887), % Brix of sugar (MA871)in aqueous solutions.
The digital refractometers eliminate the uncertainity associated with mechanical refractometers and are easily portable for measurements in the ? eld.

Each refractometer is calibrated and adjusted to measure at 20°C (68°F). Models with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) are suitable for applications where the temperature of the samples vary. All these refractometers have adjustable focus, easy to read numbers for good resolution and zero adjustment screw for calibration.
